The monstrous bass player, Marcus Miller!!!
At
8:30pm, the Marcus Miller band started their set with some of the funkiest,
monstrous slap-bass funk ever heard, courtesy of THE MAN, Marcus Miller!!! The
first song was a funk-jazz tune with some good saxophone riffs. One of the
better songs was a super funk-rock jam with amazing, fiery lead guitarisms and
(of course, the thunderous Miller bass)! Marcus put down his bass and played
alto saxophone with the other two horn players on a mellow tune....the acoustic
guitar sounded very good. "Come Together" was DA BOMB, with fiery
lead guitarisms, some good synthesizer riffs and a hellified moment of
drumming!! The encore featured some more great jazz-funk stuff!
